Yes it will. Use one Z2300 for the left channel and the second Z2300 for the right channel and separate the two Z2300 speaker sets by about 6 or 7 meters (or about 18 to 20 feet) for outside. You will need two "1/8 inch female stereo to 1/4 inch male mono" adapter cables - one for each Z2300. Either buy one if you can find it or buy two 1/8 inch female stereo connectors and two 1/4 inch male mono connectors and some 2-conductor speaker wire that fits into the back end of the connectors. Connect the 1/4 inch male mono connector to the speaker wire using standard connection: black or negative wire to the connector shield and red or positive wire to the connector center. On the 1/8 inch female stereo connector connect the black or negative wire to the connector shield and connect the red or positive wire to both the left channel and right channel connections. Another approach is to buy a cable that has two 1/8 inch female stereo connectors on each end and then cut the cable in half and attach the two 1/4 inch male mono connectors onto each end. On the 1/4 inch connector side connect the two negative wires to the shield and connect the left and right channel wires to the 1/4 inch connector center connection. If your store does not have a cable with two 1/8 inch female stereo connectors then buy two extension cables that have a 1/8 inch female stereo connector on one end and a 1/8 inch male stereo connector on the other end. Then replace the 1/8 inch male stereo connector with a 1/4 inch male mono connector. If your store has a 1/8 inch female stereo to 1/4 inch male mono adapter then get two of them and you do not have to do any soldering. Depending upon what your store has in stock there are lots of ways to purchase various cables and adapters to result in a cable setup with a 1/8 inch female stereo connector on one end and a 1/4 inch male mono connector on the other end. And then you need two of these cable setups - one for the Z2300 speaker set that will connect to the Tyros2 left channel output and the second cable setup to connect your second Z2300 to the Tyros2 right channel output. Hope this helps you out. I know the above paragraphs seem long-winded but it is not really that complicated - you will soon be an expert at this. One other thing. If you are going to play outdoors in front of people - you should have three of the cable setups - the third one is a spare just in case one of the other two get damaged. And store each cable setup in a separate zip-lock baggie to keep them from getting all tangled up. The Glad Company makes some 8-inch by 10-inch zip-lock freezer bags that are great for this and they will keep all your cable setups and adapters and all protected from the elements until you are ready to use them. And that way everything is all together so you do not have to go looking for it when you need it. |
