To connect the Z2300 to the Tyros2 - all you need is a 1/8" female to 1/4" male stereo adapter plug. This attaches to the green plug on the input of the Z2300 speaker. Then plug the 1/4" male plug of the adapter into the Tyros2 headphone jack and you will have music coming out of both smaller speakers and also the woofer. You do not need to worry about the Tyros2 woofer connection in the back - you will not be using it for your Z2300.

This is all you need to do and it will work very well and you will have good treble and bass response from the Z2300 speakers. Give that a try.

On the whoofer there are two outputs that go to the two smaller speakers. There is one input that is a 1/8 inch stereo connector. The Z2300 should have included a 2-meter long stereo input cable with a 1/8 inch stereo connector on each end. One end plugs into the back of the Z2300 and the other end plugs into your 1/8 to 1/4 adapter plug and then the adapter plugs into the Tyros headphone jack. This will provide stereo input to both smaller speakers and also to the whoofer. You will not be using the whoofer output jack on the back of the Tyros keyboard - the Tyros whoofer output jack is only for the Tyros whoofer.

Now, if you wanted to use the whoofer output jack on the back panel of the Tyros and you had the wiring diagram and a mating connector for that jack - I suppose you could connect up a second whoofer to the Tyros after building the appropriate cable that would be required to connect it up.

For my setup: I use a 1/8 inch female stereo to 1/4 inch male mone adapter cable setup to connect one of the Z2300 speakers to the Tyros2 left channel output and a second cable setup to connect the second Z2300 speaker to the Tyros2 right channel output. Then I also connect up an Altec Lansing speaker set to the headphone jack on the Tyros2 and place the Altec Lansing speakers behind me (like a monitor setup) and this produces a very good sound in the nursing home dining room where I play for people. This is going to sound really good for you - you will like what you hear. Sometimes I just take my two Peavey KB300 keyboard amplifiers and connect one amp to the Tyros2 left channel output and the other amp to the right channel output. This works well too but the Peavey amplifiers are about 100 pounds each so that is a bit heavy to haul around. It is easier to place the two Z2300s and the Altec Lansing in a sturdy wooden box that sits in a red Radio Flyer wagon you can purchase from a toy store and then set the Tyros2 on top of the wooden box to haul it around.
