Yamaha force domains closed

A couple of years ago Yamaha forced Tyros2.nl domain closed. But here at Tyros2.Net I have never heard one word from Yamaha about domain, or about anything else for that matter.

Yamaha forces Tyros2.nl to shut down:
A little while after the release of the Tyros2, Yamaha forced my friend Henk Oostendorp to shut down his Dutch Tyros2.nl domain. Now he got www.t-2.nl instead. Several told me that Tyros2.net would suffer same fate when Yamaha soon would force me to shut down my Tyros2.Net also. But I haven't heard one word from them in these two, soon three, years.

Yamaha's face of truth:
I find it a bit strange that Yamaha forced my friend Henk to shut his Tyros2.nl down, but they have never contacted me about Tyros2.Net. I guess they are happy for all the FREE advertising they get, proud sitting there on their high horses and dont give a dime back. - I have had Yamaha organ and keyboards, and still have a little keyboard of Yamaha, but I get a harsh feeling about Yamaha when I in these two years have seen how Yamaha really are.

I have lots of demonstraion files, songs, etc. of the Tyros2 that I could put up on this website, but I will not do that when Yamaha is to proud to say "Thanks" for all the FREE advertising. We could be on same team instead. - It's a shame. - And, yes ofcourse, I feel a bit disappointed.

What exactly was the reason the site was shut down? Mack.

Henk told me that Yamaha forced him to close the site/domain because he sell Tyros2 keyboards from the site Shock. Well, Yamaha atleast explained it this way.... I just dont get it; Why shut the site down when he actually sells THEIR Tyros2 and other of their products? Is this Yamaha in a nutshell? Sad - Geeeeez!

Hello. wat do you mean, he sells tyros2 from he`s web site ? where do he get these keyboards from and do he have a contract with yamaha with this ? the only way he can sell these is if they are used keyboards, if they are new ones he must have some kind of a contract with yamaha, if he sells them for a store he still must have a aproval from yamaha and not just from the store.
when all comes to all we are talking money here and Yamaha will have a amount of it. So. if yamaha dont get any of that from your friend and he still sells them, he do this against Yamaha`s regulations.

What I mean is that he is a Yamaha keyboard distributor. He have a store where he sells Yamaha keyboards and lots of other music related items. For this business he have the website with some information about his store. So there is ofcourse nothing "wrong" with this.

Henk Oostendorp is official and award winning dealer of Yamaha products, one of the best in the Netherlands. I'm a Oostendorp customer to. The location of his store is Wezep. And offcourse he has a website. I'm a Yamaha Tyros2 entertainer, and I have allways used Yamaha products. So I had a tyros2 site to, and also Yamaha forced me to shutdown my site. Explenation from Yamaha: All domain names with product names in it, is copyright and owned by Yamaha. You must shutdown your site or else ... bla bla bla

I had tyros2-keyboard.nl, a very good dutch site, with a lot of FREE advertising and because of my site many people in the Netherlands went to Oostendorp to buy a brand new Yamaha keyboard. I was proud!! I had everything on my site, from demo videos to sound files. And all for free. I did very good advertising.

Now, I will never, and I mean NEVER use Yamaha products again. Yamaha is not the only one in the world with good keyboards and workstations. Yamaha shame on you!!!

Sounds like there is info missing here!?
I would hope that someone would register their name (domain)
as to protect it. But if that domain is taken or owned by someone else like Yamaha and/or another owner. Then theres trouble.

Mike
